About
BSA Troop 465 ~ Harrold Zion Lutheran
We are a troop run by boys for boys. Our troop operates using the traditional 'patrol method'. The Boy Scouts are one of the few organizations for youth where the adults are not 'in charge'. The boys manage most aspects of our troop operations under the guidance of our adult leaders.
If you are new to the Scouting program, our Troop has the resources to get the most out of your scouting experience. We can set you on the trail to develop a one of a kind skill set, from thriving in the outdoors to better understanding what you mean to your community - this is the place.
Activities
as a troop we offer many activities such as camp outs service projects and many more fun outdoor activities.
When do we meet ?
We meet on Thursday evenings starting at 7:00pm until 8:30pm
Our meetings run throughout the school year with a break over the summer.
Camp Outs
We offer many camp outs yearly such as our week long summer camp at camp Conestoga, the March for Parks at Twin Lakes and various camporees.
We try for at least one camp out a month.
Service projects
As a troop we provide services to the community such as cleaning the area near waterways, and eagle scout projects which cover things from repainting fire hydrants to laying stones on trails.
